Sara brings over 15-years of comprehensive media experience to her role as Founder and CEO of Covet Public Relations. Sara’s diverse background has provided her with extensive knowledge and expertise in the public relations sector where she is known as a leading expert in media relations for consumer brands.

Prior to starting her PR career, Sara worked in television at MTV and E! Entertainment. Sara later left LA for NYC to pursue a career in PR, working for years as a senior team member at a prestigious NYC-based PR firm that specialized in beauty and fashion. Following her tenure in NYC, Sara accepted a position at a bi-coastal lifestyle PR agency in Southern California where she spearheaded the development of the firm’s lifestyle division.

In the fall of 2014, Sara launched Covet PR, setting out to create a PR agency like no other, focusing solely on consumer brands that are pushing boundaries, setting new standards and innovating the wellness industry. Deeply rooted in founder-led companies, Covet PR stays ahead of the trends to catapult industry innovators to become household names. Sara’s relentless passion for her clients, her extensive media relationships, and her tenacious approach to getting the job done have helped to make Covet PR one of the fastest-growing PR firms in the country.

Sara has been a finalist in San Diego Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Awards and San Diego Magazine’s Women of the Year Awards. Covet PR was named PR Couture’s 2018 winner of the Brand Communications Award for Startup Agency of the Year. Additionally, she has spoken on many panels across the country, ranging in topics from entrepreneurship, to female-led businesses to the best ways to inspire and build a strong team.
