Sara’s diverse background has provided her with extensive knowledge and expertise in the public relations sector where she is known as a leading expert in media relations across print, digital, and broadcast platforms.
Prior to starting her PR career, Sara was a freelance editor, writing feature travel, beauty, fashion and entertainment stories for a highly circulated regional publication. From there, she transitioned to the world of television, working in casting for MTV and later at E! Entertainment Networks in Los Angeles.
After years in the print and broadcast world, Sara left Los Angeles for New York City and sought out a career that fused her media and talent-casting experience with her passion for the lifestyle and wellness industries. She found her calling as a publicist and spent nearly five years at a prestigious NYC-based PR firm where she served as a senior team member in the beauty department, working on both niche and mass consumer brands. Following her tenure in NYC, Sara accepted a position at a bi-coastal lifestyle and hospitality PR agency in Southern California where she spearheaded the development of the lifestyle division, launching CPG brands such as Suja Juice.
In the fall of 2014, Sara founded Covet PR, setting out to create a PR agency like no other by focusing solely on CPG brands in the food, beverage, and beauty space. Sara’s relentless passion for her clients, her extensive media relationships, and her tenacious approach to getting the job done have helped to make Covet PR one of the fastest-growing lifestyle PR firms in the country.
Successfully navigating the media and public relations industry for 14 years, Dawn Seymour brings experience, insider know-how and a fresh perspective to her role as Publicity Director for Covet PR.
She’s helped shape a top roster of culinary and lifestyle brands, building strategies, comprehensive PR plans and creating a strong media network along the way. A passionate storyteller who earned a Masters in Journalism from American University in Washington, D.C., Dawn started her career on the media side as an editor with Modern Luxury, and later at Surfing Magazine where she executed the publication’s popular swimsuit issue. At an award-winning global PR firm, she wore both hats—tapping into her writing skills and trend expertise to strategize new PR angles for national lifestyle products, culinary brands, and chefs.
The lifelong foodie became ever more passionate about health and wellness when she started her family, diligently reading labels and locally sourcing organic ingredients. Before joining Covet, Dawn was a PR and Media Consultant, focusing on culinary clients. She lives in Solana Beach with her husband and two sons where they tend to a family garden.
Casey is a confident, motivated professional who has experienced success across a variety of verticals in the marketing, hospitality, retail, and event industries. With a degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Casey brings to her role at Covet PR a strong ability to build meaningful relationships and effectively manage dynamic teams. Having gained invaluable experience being mentored by some of San Diego’s most prestigious entrepreneurs and executives, Casey’s modern perspective on organizational structure is evident in her implementation of turn-key operations and unique wellness initiatives that separate Covet from the average agency.
Casey’s bubbly personality, positive attitude, and passion for helping others has allowed her to cultivate an inviting company culture that both empowers employees to keep a healthy work/life balance and creates a collaborative environment where ideas are shared and expanded upon with fluidity.
Erin Cutler brings several years of experience in Influencer and Brand Partnerships, as well as more than 8 years as an entertainment, employment, and fashion attorney, to her role as Director of Influencer Relations at Covet PR. Erin’s passion lies in creating authentic and interesting social campaigns and activations to increase brand awareness, social engagement, and generate buzz. Her eye for talent and trends, and keen ability to connect influencers with brands, has led to numerous successful campaigns.
Erin began her professional career in the entertainment legal department at Warner Bros. and Telepictures, applying her knowledge of licensing, contracts, and negotiations to work on reality programming such as ABC’s The Bachelor. She continued her legal career as an Attorney Advisor at the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC (or renowned art museum) and further honed her negotiation skills.
Following her career as an attorney, Erin transitioned her expertise into the fashion industry, styling celebrities and coordinating photo shoots. Ultimately Erin leveraged her skills and experience in both the legal and celebrity world, jumping to the next phase of her career: the ever-expanding influencer industry. Erin quickly became an expert in influencer talent management, leading to numerous successful campaigns, including influencer partnerships with brands such as Dove, Pop Chips, Muscle Milk Organic, Nautilus, Murad Skin Care, Smirnoff, Guinness, Don Julio, Mercedes Benz, DIFF Eyewear, Hewlett Packard, Puppies Make Me Happy Apparel, GMYLE Accessories, Mane Choice Beauty, New Balance, Rent The Runway, and California Closets.
As a result of her specialization in contract negotiations and utilizing her wide network, Erin has managed celebrity talent in the sports and entertainment broadcasting arena, such as Charissa Thompson, host of Extra TV and host on Fox Sports, as well as influencers such as Caitlyn Chase of Caviar & Cashmere. Erin is dedicated to being involved in all aspects of an influencer/brand collaboration and prides herself on her reputation to “make it happen,” while ensuring the client’s expectations are exceeded.
Leah is a dynamic PR pro who thrives in the fast-paced PR industry and prides herself on garnering top-tier media coverage. Possessing nearly five years of PR agency experience representing a range of national CPG clients in the beauty, food, and accessory industries, Leah takes delight in telling her clients’ stories in unique and memorable ways. From her start at a bi-coastal firm based in San Diego to earning a senior account executive role at a boutique national firm, Leah developed a fresh perspective, a penchant for creative campaign ideas, and a proven track record for acquiring valuable press across print, digital, and national broadcast outlets.

Lauren joins Covet PR with more than six years of national CPG experience. Possessing an expertise in health, wellness and food brands, she prides herself on executing compelling media campaigns, client strategies and events with precision.
Lauren launched her career in New York City, working at two award-winning mid-sized agencies, where she thrived in the fast-paced atmosphere, building strong relationships with top-tier media and influencers. Her background includes a variety of consumer brands, including NESCAFÉ, Coffee-mate, Brooks Running, Vega, Heluva! Good, Schwan’s, Burlington Stores, IKEA and more. More recently, her time was spent focusing on overall account management, campaign strategy and development, as well as overseeing event logistics and activations.
In her spare time, Lauren is often on the run (literally!) training for an upcoming race, scoping out a new brunch spot or cheering on her Michigan State Spartans. She’s thrilled to continue her work in the CPG space on brands that she’s personally passionate about.

Jackie Bronder, Senior Publicist at Covet PR, offers a fresh perspective and keen eye for discovering the latest trends in the health, wellness, and fitness industries. In her role at Covet PR, Jackie works in close collaboration with leading consumer brands to develop public relations strategies and campaigns.
Jackie graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising. She gained valuable experience in managing social media campaigns and coordinating promotional efforts through various high-level internships at Penn State Strength and Fitness, The American Diabetes Association, Yelp.com, and various corporate wellness sites.
After completing her B.A. at Penn State, Jackie furthered her education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Health Promotion and Education from the University of Pittsburgh. This continued education provided Jackie with advanced skills in researching, writing, and public speaking in addition to a wealth of expertise in the health and wellness industry.

Kira began at Covet PR just months after the agency launched in 2014 and has since played an integral role while working with a diverse client roster. Holly brings a diverse background in television journalism to her role as Junior Publicist. Prior to her time at Covet, she worked as a reporter/anchor for CBS affiliate KSWT in Yuma, Arizona. As a general assignment reporter, Holly covered a vast array of topics from military issues, to local and national politics, to industrial agriculture and international border security. As a publicity assistant, Holly continues to enjoy telling the stories of her food and beverage clients and the empowering the individuals behind each brand.
While completing a degree in digital and broadcast journalism at the University of Georgia, Holly minored in Spanish and received a certificate in New Media. She also fulfilled a number of prestigious internships at media outlets such as Atlanta’s ABC affiliate, WSB, and San Diego’s ABC affiliate, KGTV.
Though a Georgia girl at heart, Holly is excited to call San Diego – and its fantastic weather – home. She enjoys all things culinary, spending time outdoors and exercising through running, yoga, or HIIT. Holly has an affinity for meeting new people, and is excited to build long lasting relationships with local, regional, and national media as well as her co-workers and clients.

Graduating from San Diego State, with a degree in Communication and Mass Media, Michelle was able to obtain knowledge in an array of vital subjects. Throughout her college career, Michelle secured internships within a range of fields including Social Media, Digital Marketing, and Advertising which enabled her to develop a diverse set of abilities. Prior to Covet, Michelle worked for a Hispanic PR agency, where she quickly realized her love for PR and helping connect clients with the media, sparking her desire to continue working in the field.
A self-proclaimed foodie, Michelle brings her love for all things food and lifestyle to the agency. When she isn’t exploring the latest trends or scouring the newest magazines, she enjoys anything related to soccer and spending time with her friends, family, and her dogs.
Following a successful internship with Covet, Maddie is excited to join the Covet Public Relations team as its Publicity Assistant. While completing a degree in English and Public Relations at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Maddie fulfilled various public relations and marketing internships and served as the Copywriter for San Diego-based Chuao Chocolatier where her passion for the CPG space was ignited. From a young age, Maddie has had a passion for storytelling, which she continues to apply to sharing her clients’ unique brand stories with the world.
After spending four years in the Southern heat, Maddie is ecstatic to be back in her hometown of San Diego. When Maddie is not poring over food and lifestyle blogs, she loves to visit new restaurants, try out unique recipes on her friends and family, and travel. Starting her career with a Public Relations degree from University of Oregon, Kimberly built upon it with various internships in boutique agencies across the Pacific Northwest, working with large regional clients in the healthcare and insurance industries. Having established a strong set of problem-solving, creative and analytical skills, Kimberly is eager to fuse her passion for communication with her personal interests in fitness and beauty as a publicity assistant at Covet. She is excited to work with the most innovative brands in the health and wellness space, crafting trendsetting narratives that change the lifestyle industry landscape.
Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, Kimberly is ecstatic to live in sunny, and most importantly warm, San Diego, where snow is never on the forecast. When she isn’t flipping through her favorite magazines, you can find her taking advantage of living near the beach or seeking out the best restaurants. A die-hard Oregon Ducks fan, you can always find Kim sporting green and yellow and supporting her team on Saturdays in the fall.
